Job Summary



The Product Management Intern will gain hands-on experience supporting product planning, product marketing, and the product lifecycle. This internship offers a unique opportunity to learn about gathering and prioritizing product, customer, and market requirements, defining product vision, and assisting cross-functional teams to deliver winning products. The intern will work closely with commercial, operational, and marketing teams to understand product strategy and development processes, providing valuable support while developing skills for future roles.

This position is expected to start in person around May 2025 and continue through the entire summer term (i.e. through August 2025). We ask for a minimum of 12 weeks, full-time, onsite for most internships.



Job Responsibilities



As a Product Management Intern, you will contribute to product development and commercialization activities across various markets. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting the development and management of the product line roadmap, learning how to establish value propositions for products and solutions.
  • Assisting with product development through the stage gate process, including innovation, line extensions, and identifying gaps.
  • Collaborating with Product Engineering to address product performance needs.
  • Conducting market and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and benchmark offerings.
  • Assisting in identifying new market opportunities and potential growth areas.
  • Supporting product commercialization efforts by assisting with marketing materials, training modules, and customer support initiatives.
  • Gaining exposure to customer engagement by assisting in problem-solving strategies and technical support initiatives.



Job Requirements




  • Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an open, collaborative style and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Demonstrated initiative, problem-solving skills, and a passion for learning.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with a positive, results-driven attitude.
  • A strong interest in product management, product development, or marketing within a corporate environment.
