Your Role & Impact:
As our Senior Accountant - Senior Bookkeeper, you'll play a key role in shaping the financial success of our company. Your responsibilities will include:
Month-End & Year-End Excellence: Manage journal entries, account reconciliations, and the close process with precision and efficiency.
Financial Insight: Prepare business activity reports, financial forecasts, and budgets, helping to guide our strategic decisions.
Accurate Reporting: Generate and review financial reports to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Tax Mastery: File timely monthly, quarterly, and annual tax reports, ensuring we meet all legal obligations.
Audit-Ready: Perform detailed audits of accounts to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
Collaboration with Auditors: Coordinate with external auditors, ensuring all necessary documents and information are provided for smooth audits.
Data-Driven Recommendations: Present insightful recommendations to management to drive financial objectives and optimize processes.
Ad-hoc Financial Support: Be ready to support other financial-related duties as necessary, ensuring seamless operations.
What We're Looking For:
Detail-Oriented & Accurate: You thrive in environments where precision and thoroughness are essential.
Cost Accounting Expertise: You have a deep understanding and hands-on experience in cost accounting, ensuring the financial records reflect true business performance.
Software Savvy: Proficient in accounting and tax preparation software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (or similar).
Educational Foundation: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration.
Experienced: 5+ years of relevant experience in accounting or bookkeeping with a strong track record of success.
