The Sr Manager, Tax Reporting and Compliance will assist with managing and reviewing the domestic income tax return compliance and quarterly provisions. The Sr Manager will also lead special projects as required.
What You Can Offer Us
Assist in managing and reviewing domestic federal, state and local income/franchise tax compliance
Assist in managing and reviewing quarterly and annual consolidated ASC 740 tax provision
Identify significant tax issues and opportunities and recommend timely action along with supporting documentation
Review quarterly taxable income, earnings and profits projections, and cash taxes
Assist with providing transactional support and analysis and impact
Lead tax technology and automation improvements
Direct and coordinate efforts of in-house tax staff and outside tax advisors
Communicate regularly with members of the Corporate Tax department and others throughout the global finance organization
Other duties as assigned

What You Need to Succeed
Bachelor of Science in Accounting with MST or LLM in Taxation required.
CPA preferred.
Ten years combined tax experience in large public accounting environment or corporate environment, with an emphasis on federal, foreign and state income tax issues required.
Knowledge of and experience with applying rules of ASC 740, SFAS 5 and related guidance on accounting for income taxes required.
Experience preparing U.S. corporate tax returns, including the use of commercial software and performing related calculations required.

Sound technical federal, state, and local tax law skills.
Strong analytical skills.
Detail oriented; able to multitask and meet deadlines.
Experience with online tax research tools such as Bureau of National Affairs Tax Management Portfolio Library and Commerce Clearing House Tax Research Network.
Experience with tax software such as OneSource.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
Demonstrated success at identifying and synthesizing customer needs into a concise, clear and influential presentation. Can teach others how to do so as well.
Ability to work effectively across many internal functional groups to optimize product offerings, create a seamless customer experience and resolve issues.
Self-motivated; able to work both independently to complete tasks and respond to department requests and works well with others to utilize their resources and knowledge to identify high quality solutions.
