The Financial Reporting Accountant is critical to ensuring the accuracy and completeness of our audit reports and financial disclosures. This position will work closely with the internal accounting team, management, and external auditors to oversee the audit process and engagement. What You'll Do

  • Compilation of annual audit reports and financial disclosures, ensuring adherence to relevant accounting standards (U.S. GAAP historical cost or Fair Value), regulations, and company policies.
  • Prepare and review accompanying notes to the financial statements, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with applicable reporting requirements.
  • Assist in coordination of the annual financial statement audits, liaising with the accounting team and external auditors to facilitate the audit planning, fieldwork, and reporting phases.
  • Manage audit requests by coordinating with cross-functional teams, gathering necessary documentation, and ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Collaborate with the audit team to identify and resolve any discrepancies, variances, or issues that may arise during the reporting process.
  • Conduct technical research to stay updated on accounting principles, regulations, and industry best practices, and provide guidance on complex accounting issues.
  • Coordinate with internal accounting teams to facilitate the efficient adoption and implementation of new accounting standards and changes in reporting requirements.
  • Establish controls for maintaining consistent application of accounting procedures and policies.
  • Provide support on various transactions, such as acquisitions, divestitures, and restructurings, ensuring proper accounting treatment and disclosure.
  • Identify, implement, and maintain a reporting software solution to streamline and enhance the reporting process.
  • Engage in ad hoc projects and requests that arise within the scope of the role.

  • Master's in business or accounting (completed or in progress) preferred.?
  • CPA certification is required.
  • 3 - 5 years of accounting experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
