Your new role
As a Civil Superintendent, you will oversee and manage all on-site construction activities. This includes scheduling, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with project plans and specifications. You will lead a team, develop project schedules, resolve issues, and maintain daily logs to report progress to senior management.
What you'll need to succeed
A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred)
Several years of experience in construction management, particularly with civil projects - utilities, energy construction,
Relevant certifications such as OSHA, CPR, and project management credentials.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with knowledge of construction tools, machinery, and methods.
