Student Worker - Facility Maintenance:
This position reports to the Head of the Maintenance Department. Responsible for the completion of a wide variety of tasks and duties including keeping assigned areas clean, orderly, and in good repair in compliance with Department of Labor (DOL) and management directives.
Some of your Essential Functions are:
Maintain and preserve all flooring and/or floor covering by scrubbing, stripping, waxing, buffing, and sweeping surfaces.
Clean and sanitize restrooms and associated fixtures.
Wash walls, windows, and woodwork. Dust desks, bookshelves, cabinets, and other office furniture.
Collect and dispose of all trash, litter, and other debris on grounds, streets, and parking lots. Sweep and clean interior/exterior steps, entrances, landings, and sidewalks.
Use basic cleaning compounds, waxes, and disinfectants as provided by supervision.
It is expected that the incumbent shall perform other duties as assigned within his/her capabilities as determined by management.
Education/Experience Requirements:
Must be diligent, hardworking, and sincere. Demonstrate good verbal communication and interpersonal skills and be able to follow directions and work with little or no supervision. Able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs. Must be on Gold Level or higher in the Center Phase System and maintain satisfactory or above rating on all ESPs.
