We are adding to our team! We are seeking an Engineer Mechanical to join our team. You will design, develop, and optimize components, products, and systems using SolidWorks software. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, troubleshooting design issues, and ensuring compliance with engineering standards.
You will:
Create 3D models, detailed drawings, and assemblies using SolidWorks software.
Generate accurate CAD files for manufacturing and prototyping.
Develop innovative solutions to meet product requirements.
Work closely with ETG project managers, manufacturing teams, and other engineers to ensure designs meet project goals and deadlines.
Present designs and concepts to stakeholders and incorporate feedback into final designs.
Collaborate with prototyping teams to create physical models.
Perform simulations and stress analyses to validate designs.
Identify and troubleshoot design-related issues.
Maintain organized documentation, including technical specifications, design iterations, and change logs.
Ensure all designs adhere to company standards and regulatory requirements.
Stay updated with the latest SolidWorks features and engineering practices.
Suggest improvements to design processes and tools.
Be an ambassador that prioritizes the success of E Tech Group, our clients, and the Careers of our associates.
You have:
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2+ years of experience in using SolidWorks for mechanical or product design.
Proficiency in SolidWorks, including modules such as Simulation, Sheet Metal, and Weldments.
Familiarity with manufacturing processes (e.g., CNC machining, injection molding, 3D printing).
Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and engineering standards.
Understanding of FEA (Finite Element Analysis) and CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics).
