Intelligent Waves is seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Federal Market Research Analyst to support our mission critical work in support of our government customer.

Location & Travel: This will be a Remote role with no travel.

Security Clearance: This Federal Market Research Analyst must be a United States Citizen and eligible for a DoD secret level security clearance.

Adherence to all customer site protocols is mandatory for employees.

Responsibilities

• Research and analysis of Government Spending, market/industry trends, and competitive information to provide decision support and consultation on the market and industry risks and opportunities in support of Go-To-Market Strategy and Account Planning.
• Provide in-depth discovery of potential contract opportunities and market partners to support pipeline generation.
• Provide detailed information to support agency understanding and competitive analysis in support of BD, Capture, Bid Strategy, and Proposal efforts. Efforts include, but not limited to, developing and maintaining market, competitor, industry, and key customer SWAT analysis information as well as acting as a professional resource for these topic areas.
• Use statistical techniques to analyze market research data to create quantitative-based reports, present results, and make actionable recommendations to internal stakeholders and executives.
• Monitor trends, planning scenarios, and competitive issues that impact IWs contract strategy and communicates results to strategic and operational planning areas.
• Assist in evaluating the impact of regulatory policies and trends on critical aspects of growth factors and develop recommendations from this analysis.
• Assist with the management of pipeline, partners, and competitors information.
• Meet or exceed established performance goals in support of overall corporate growth and success.
• Perform other duties as assigned in support of the VP of IDIQ Programs and Strategic Growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree is required
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in performing research in Federal IT & Services market
• Industry knowledge of federal government procurement required
• Strong project management skills; deadline-driven, and strong attention to details
• Ability to solve problems and communicate information to all levels
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
• Confident written / verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently, multi-task and learn on the fly with minimal supervision
• Service-oriented: Commitment to providing high-quality service in a fast-paced business environment
• Strong quantitative skills in building and running reports from multiple systems; must be an expert in MS Office program
• Experienced with multiple Federal Market research resources to include: SAM.gov, FPDS, USASpending, GovWin, Bloomberg, GovTribe, Government and Industry reference material, literature, media, and other open-source data is required.
