SPS Commerce is growing- We are currently looking to add a Senior Business Development Manager (Senior BDM) to the retail sales team. This growth is due to territory expansion and current team member promotions. As a Senior BDM, you will work to create and uncover new sales opportunities through outbound prospecting within your assigned territory. You will have anywhere from 60 to 100 accounts that you will be working with at any given time. In this role you will partner closely with a team of Account Executives to build out a pipeline and identify opportunities. If you enjoy being in the front-end of the sales cycle, in a pure hunter type role, where you can use your positive attitude and energy to uncover opportunities within some of the most strategic and visible accounts for SPS, then this role is for you.

The Day to Day
This is an outbound/prospecting role focused on the retail, grocery and distribution markets. You will be researching the accounts in your territory, identifying change events or triggers that might lead to a business opportunity for SPS Commerce. You will prospect into various departments and contacts across each account to get engagement. Your goal is to generate new sales opportunities by sparking interest and gaining commitment from your prospect for a meeting with an Account Executive to explore how SPS Commerce can help them solve their business challenges.

The total annualized on-target compensation for this role is: $100,000.
