Overview
The role is responsible for developing production plans and loading schedules that ensure the plant operates in alignment with Afton’s requirements. This role also involves managing inventory levels to support production schedules and ensure the timely availability of materials for order fulfillment.
Responsibilities
Analyze demand signals and inventory levels to determine production requirements, ensuring on-time fulfillment of customer orders.
Monitor short-term production capacity and identify any potential constraints that may impact operations.
Maintain inventory levels within target ranges for key materials and locations to ensure smooth production processes.
Respond promptly and efficiently to any changes in production plans.
Collaborate with regional planners to support activities such as new material introductions, changes to the distribution network, and inventory management.
Align planning activities with the objectives of the Logistics and Procurement teams, providing support for other supply operations in the region when needed.
Manage the procurement, importation, and purchase of raw materials, components, and finished goods to ensure timely replenishment to support the demand plan.
Contribute to maintaining company quality and safety standards through daily operations and by providing formal feedback as needed.
Qualifications
Minimum Education & Experience:
Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
SAP competency in materials management and supply planning, typically gained through 8 or more years of experience.
Proficiency in written and spoken English is required
Preferred Education & Experience:
General knowledge of supply chain structures, global supply network interactions, and inventory management protocols, typically gained through 8 or more years of experience.
