Schedule:
3:00 PM - until finish
Responsibilities:
Make sure all production equipment and surrounding areas are clean and sanitary before next day production.
Keep tools and equipment clean, in good working order and properly stored.
Use chemicals for cleaning.
Operate sanitation department equipment in a safe and proficient manner
Operate a forklift and genie boom in a safe and proficient manner (if trained as driver).
Perform self-inspection on each task before moving to the next.
Keep all storage areas clean and in good order.
Notify Sanitation Supervisor immediately of any damage to plant or sanitation equipment or tools.
Keep all documentation current, up-to date and properly filed
Work safe and report all unsafe working conditions and/or unsafe acts to supervisor immediately
Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices
Responsible to ensure food safety/quality polices are followed, to report all food safety/quality problems out of his/her realm of responsibility to personnel with the authority to initiate action.
Responsible to make sure a good safe wholesome product is produced safely.
All other duties as required.
Minimum Experience
Preferred manufacturing sanitation experience
Ability to operator forklift and aerial lifts a plus
Physical Requirements:
Plant Environment.
Walking/standing while in position.
Able to work in an outside environment and other extreme conditions.
Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. – if an accommodation is necessary please notify Human Resources in advance of the interview.
