Program Details:
Orientation: Thursday, February 20 and/or Friday, February 21, 2025
Program Duration: Monday, February 24 - Friday, May 2, 2025
Graduation Ceremony: Saturday, May 3, 2025
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:55 AM - 5:00 PM
Please note: while conducting ride-alongs with a mentor and once hired in a full-time position, end times will vary depending on customer need.
Compensation: This is a paid training program! $22/hr + $1,500 value in trade tools awarded upon graduation + $10,000 estimated value of condensed, 10-week curriculum & instruction per student!
Responsibilities
Compensation: This is a paid training program! You'll earn $22/hr during training, plus additional benefits:
$1,500 value in trade tools awarded upon graduation.
$10,000 estimated value of condensed, 10-week curriculum & instruction per student!
Training Structure:
Classroom Training: Gain foundational HVAC knowledge, including the principles of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration.
Hands-On Training: Ride along with experienced mentors and apply what you've learned in real-world situations, gaining valuable field experience.
Sales Training: Learn foundational sales skills that ensure customers capitalize on all available service options while you earn.
Once the 10-week paid training program is completed, successful participants will transition to full-time employees with their local ARS/Rescue Rooter service center. As full-time HVAC Maintenance Technicians, you will be provided with a stocked service van to start using the skills you've learned and take on real-world customer service responsibilities.
Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Valid Driver's License
Strong ability to communicate with customers and articulate need-based solutions
Ability to lift and/or move at least 50 pounds
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to comply with all safety regulations, including the use of a back brace, safety goggles, and gloves when appropriate
Ability to stand, walk, and/or sit for extended periods of time, as well as crawl into crawl spaces and climb into attics
Candidates selected for the Program must complete EPA and OSHA Certifications prior to Orientation on Friday, February 21. The approximate time commitment toward obtaining those certifications is 30+ hours. The cost of these certifications will be paid for by ARS/Rescue Rooter.
