As a System High Priority Initiative, S&R's Common Exam Platform (CEP), also known as OASIS, will provide exciting opportunities for further career development and exposure to strategic System efforts. S&R’s CEP program is currently seeking to fill a Cross Portfolio Advisory Group (CPAG) Product Manager role.

The CPAG Product Manager, embedded within S&R, will coordinate and lead the CPAG to ensure cross portfolio issues, and concerns are identified, discussed, resolved or elevated to CEP Product Sponsors or Executive Sponsors, as needed. The CPAG Product Manager will work with multiple business lines at once on capabilities that cross over multiple business lines (e.g. LT100 and LFI). This role will report directly to the CEP Business Director.

The CPAG Product Manager will work with CPAG members to holistically collaborate and build consensus on:


  • Development of general user-experience functionality

  • Shared capabilities development, reuse, and implementation, including identification of what is “common” and what is “special”

  • Later changes that may affect shared capabilities across multiple business lines

  • Emerging business line needs

  • Recommendations on prioritization of future funding needs

CPAG Business Product Manager Key Responsibilities:


  • Partner with key stakeholders to define the vision and strategy and develop multi-year roadmap and features for the platform alongside IT product and delivery teams. 

  • Define and prioritize business outcomes required to attain the vision.

  • Proactively identify opportunities for new or expanded product/service alternatives, functionality enhancements, and/or other modifications to relevant products.

  • Build business case documentation to ensure product delivery adds business value to the overall platform.

  • Collaborate with technology and operations resources to build and sustain the product.

  • Work across the organization with business stakeholders, users, technology and operations to ensure product success.

  • Collaborate closely with the business and technology teams on the development, validation, and deployment(s) for the product.

  • Ensure customer-driven design, considering user pain points and usability test results, while using market & industry knowledge to deliver a well-positioned product.

  • Drive the execution of product lifecycle processes for the product(s) including planning, execution, deployment, evolution, and divestment

  • Along with CPAG co-Chair, coordinate all CPAG activities in collaboration with designated PAG members.

  • Develop standard PAG processes and documentation.

  • Collaborate with asset owners migrating to CEP to ensure timely decommissioning of legacy assets along with System IT Business Dedicated Group (BDG) team. 

  • Coordinate with the S&R Common Data Platform (CDP) team to facilitate cross-platform prioritization of capabilities that need to be implemented simultaneously.

  • Surface and prioritize analytics and reporting capabilities with CDP team to ensure longer-term strategic alignment and approach for data needs.

Desired Skills:


  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, technology, or any other related business field.

  • Professional experience that includes at least 3 or more years in a product management position with direct exposure to business leaders for developing and executing product strategy.

  • Firm understanding of the Supervision and Regulation structure, business priorities, and interrelations of S&R’s various functions.

  • Advanced strategic, critical thinking and analytical skills.

  • Excellent communication skills - ability to communicate effectively, formally, and informally, written and verbal, to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Excellent ability to work with others to achieve a common goal, resolve conflicts and manage cross-functional and external relationships; demonstrated ability to negotiate and influence across organizational and management structures.

  • Knowledge of software development life cycle methodologies with a focus on Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).

  • Certified Product Manager (CPM) certification preferred. 

  • Equivalent education and/or experience may be substituted for any of the above requirements.

This role allows for the employee to work in a hybrid manner with some work conducted onsite at the Federal Reserve work location and some work conducted remotely. Specific schedule details will be discussed during the recruitment process.
