Crew Leader

This position is a full-time position directly responsible for managing field operations daily crew/ labor as well as the crew leader position is responsible for overall property maintenance, accurate record keeping, submittal of daily paperwork and accurate cost accounting of daily labor. The Crew Leader is also responsible for meeting hours requirements. This position requires the ability to handle complex jobs, specialty equipment and at times, demanding clients. This position must be able to work effectively in a team environment and is responsible for producing quality landscape services that meet or exceed the expectations of both the client and Timberline Landscaping.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for crew performance Responsible for training of laborers on crew Must be able to supervise up to 6 employees and carry out instructions given by the supervisor Must have a hands-on working knowledge of the type of work assigned to do Mow Crew:
Ability to run mowers, string trimmers, and hedge trimmers Understand how to apply chemical applications to small areasOther functions as assigned

Physical Demands & Work Environment:
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. (ask for help for over 50 lbs.) This is an outdoor job with exposure to adverse weather conditions This job, at a minimum, requires stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, control of hand tools and small to medium sized machinery Exposure to bloodborne pathogens is predominately found with Mow Crews assigned to city parks
