Approve your team’s actual worked time daily, make necessary corrections.
Coordinate with Production Supervisor workforce planning to maximize efficiency and personnel to complete daily assignments and projects
Follow all procedures and processes in order to build a defect-free product. Complete required in-process inspections and inspect product in absence of Quality Auditor and provide feedback. Repair any defects found and document critical quality information as necessary
Act as a subject matter expert on fabrication process and provide guidance and expertise to resolving issues
Provide training and guidance to co-workers, as needed
Analyze rejects and complete required paperwork
Fulfill role as substitute fabricator for gaps in the assembly production line
Identify, find solutions, and implement corrective actions to address production system issues including ability to operate and maintain all tools and equipment related to the assembly area. Notify Supervisor of needed repairs
Input Maintenance Work Orders as necessary; Ability to input and scan work o rder data into MRP system using RF scanner, keyboard and mouse.
Maintain a neat and orderly work area complying with all 5S initiatives; Set example for all team members in all areas of housekeeping.
Actively participate in continuous improvement of our products and processes to better serve our customers and improve the overall profitability of the Company.
Follow and comply with all safety and personal protective equipment requirements; Set example for all team members in all areas of safety. Coordinate movement of all hazardous materials with Material Hand
Job Responsibilities:
Evaluate engineering drawings and ensure implementation according to welding specifications
Perform all welding work with help of forming and cutting equipment
Perform efficient welding of various metal objects with help of gas torch and welder
Perform work with help of various hand and power tools
Evaluate finished products and perform quality checks on products
Analyze diagrams and specifications and cut all metal accordingly with help of welding torch
Qualification Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
A minimum of 5-years Supervisor/Leadership Experience required.
2+years fabrication experience
Basic reading skills. Must be able to follow directions
Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem and to think in such a way as to produce a new concept or idea
High attention to detail and self-motivation skills
