Position Summary:

Reporting directly to the Director of Strategy, Transformation, and Innovation, you’ll play a pivotal role in reimagining the way care is delivered and experienced by leading complex initiatives across the organization within our four core services: assessment, strategy, implementation, and evaluation.

Who we are

NeighborHealth, formerly East Boston Neighborhood Health Center, is one of the nation’s largest Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) and the largest community-based primary care health system in Massachusetts and serves over 120,000 people. NeighborHealth has the 4th busiest Emergency Department in the state of Massachusetts, operates the first and only behavioral health urgent care co-located with their Emergency Department, and is recognized by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) as a National Quality Leader.

Since 1970, NeighborHealth has worked with our neighbors to deliver high-quality health care that is compassionate, people-centric, culturally appropriate, and open to all. We believe that care is better in community. With outpatient services ranging from pediatrics to emergency to care for older adults, we engage the whole person across their lifespan, both as patients and as part of a vibrant and complex social fabric. We don’t just serve the community: we belong to it.

Our core values are the traits that shape how we interact with each other, with our communities, and with our patients.

  • Compassion. We lead with heart. We care deeply—about our patients, our community, each other, and the work we do to stand up for health equity. Every patient, every encounter is an opportunity to show empathy and make a meaningful impact.

  • Diversity. We embrace what makes us unique because our differences make us stronger. Like threads in a tapestry, our unique experiences, cultures, and perspectives are interwoven into the fabric of our community, creating something vibrant, resilient, and truly extraordinary.

  • Innovation. We push boundaries because progress doesn’t happen by staying still. Change can be hard, but it’s how we grow. When we embrace curiosity, stay flexible, and are open to the “what ifs,” we create new solutions and raise the bar for care—because our patients deserve bold ideas and better solutions.

  • Respect. We see people. Our neighbors and patients deserve to feel valued, heard, and uplifted. We honor every voice and treat everyone with the dignity they deserve, building real connections that strengthen our community.

  • Teamwork. We’re better together. Collaboration helps us break barriers and go further for our patients and our community. We show up for each other, share the load, and celebrate every win—big or small—because we’re all in this together.
