Job Description:

Intermediate Web Developer


Position Information: Responsible for developing and/or designing websites. Coordinates with a team of other developers in creating, maintaining, and updating websites.


Essential Duties:




  • Designs, builds, and maintains website and software applications.

  • Uses scripting or authoring languages, management tools, content creation tools, applications, and digital media.

  • Confers with teams to resolve conflicts, prioritize needs, develop content criteria, or choose solutions.

  • Directs or performs Website updates.

  • Develops or validates test routines. Ensures test cases mimic external interfaces and addresses all browser and device types.

  • Edits, writes, or designs Website content, and directs team members who produce content.

  • Maintains an understanding of the latest Web applications and programming practices through education, study, and participation in conferences, workshops, and groups.

  • Backs up files from Web sites to local directories for recovery.

  • Identifies problems uncovered by customer feedback and testing. Corrects or refers problems to appropriate personnel for correction.

  • Evaluates code to ensure it meets industry standards, is valid, is properly structured, and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems.

  • Determines user needs by analyzing technical requirements.

  • Performs various duties as needed to successfully fulfill the function of the position.

Qualifications:


Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree, AND: 



  • 48 months experience as a Web Developer or related field.


Equivalency/Substitution: Will accept 48 months related experience in lieu of the Bachelor¿s Degree for a total of 96 months related experience.


Working Conditions:




  • Physical: Must be able to work in sitting position, use computer and answer telephone.


  • Environmental: Office Work Environment.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:




  • Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS and SQL.



  • Experience with c#, React, and Angular

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability in communicate verbally and in writing.

  • Knowledge of programming language and technical terminology.

  • Knowledge of how web applications work including security and best development practices

  • Ability to develop ideas and processes and clearly express them.

  • High degree of independent judgment.

  • Ability to solve complex problems.
