Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Operation Director to drive the efficiency and effectiveness of our sales support team. You will lead and track goals for a wide range of operational functions including RFP response management, sales results, lead development, and Salesforce optimization. You will oversee our sales compensation plans ensuring accuracy and tracking payment and alignment with sales objectives. You will lead the sales strategy to effectively position against competitors in the 340B and Purchase Optimization markets.

Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Contract Review:

    • Ensure the accuracy and compliance with legal and company standards for contract preparation.

    • Identify any potential contract terms risks and address them proactively with Verity leadership.

    • Notify finance and Sales leadership of any non-standard term offerings and gain appropriate approvals.




  • Sales Compensation Tracking:

    • Conduct monthly reviews of commission plans with sales directors and work collaboratively with Sales leadership and finance to resolve discrepancies promptly and accurately.

    • Analyze sales data to identify trends, patterns and areas for improvement in tracking compensation discrepancies.

    • Provide training to the sales team as needed to ensure their compliance with providing accurate data requirements for monthly commission calculations.

    • Track all commission, billing and operations exceptions accurately and in a timely manner including any non-standard compensation items.




  • RFP Management:

    • Lead the Sales team strategy to effectively respond to competitive RFP submissions.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and timeliness of responses.

    • Prioritize the responses to Technical and Security assessment requests with the RFP administrator and ensure they are completed in a timely manner.




  • Lead Development:

    • Work with Business Development team to implement effective lead generation strategies to drive additional revenue.

    • Lead the Business Development team to effectively qualify leads based on predefined criteria and prioritize for follow-up.

    • Set and achieve monthly lead targets for the sales team.




  • Email Campaigns:

    • Lead the strategy to develop and execute new targeted email marketing campaigns to generate leads for new prospects and nurture existing customers.

    • Track and analyze campaign effectiveness and conversion rates to optimize performance.




  • Trade Show Engagement:

    • Collaborate with Sales team leadership and marketing for pre-trade show campaign strategies to drive booth traffic and prospect engagement.

    • Lead the post trade show follow up strategy to generate additional leads.




  • Salesforce Utilization:

    • Develop and lead a strategy to optimize Salesforce adoption and utilization within the sales team.

    • Review monthly and quarterly sales results and goals with Sales Leadership.

    • Work with Salesforce Administrator to provide Sales Directors with template for QBR presentations on a quarterly basis.




  • Competition Tracking:
    • Lead quarterly calls with the sales team to discuss strategies to compete effectively in the 340B and Purchase Optimization markets.



  • Process Improvement & Quota Management:

    • Collaborate with the SVP of Sales to identify opportunities to improve efficiencies in the sales process and implement workflow improvements to increase productivity.

    • Implement processes to accurately record sales activity to monitor quota attainment.



Experience, Skills and Qualifications:


  • Strong leadership and communication skills.

  • Experience with RFP and CRM management tools and software.

  • Knowledge of the 340B market space.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams.

  • 5+ years of sales operations or management experience preferred.

  • Successful team management experience improving operational efficiency.

  • Experience working in a goal oriented, quarterly focused and dynamic sales environment.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Working Conditions:

The job conditions for this position are for a standard home office setting. Employee in this position will use a laptop PC for online web conference calls and presentations (including on-camera video) and the use of a mobile phone on an on-going basis throughout the day and will be expected to have a home office infrastructure (Wi-Fi, cell phone, etc.) to support such activity. Travel may be up to 50% of the time including attending various industry trade shows and internal company meetings.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 119,600 - 199,400 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
