A Day in the Life

The PVH US Sales E nablement Director is primarily responsible for advancing PVH field employee's sales effectiveness, business excellence , and core selling competencies . This position will partner with the PVH Sales Leadership team and Director of Global Sales Training to develop , implement , and execute the overarching vision and strategy to improve and drive sales effectiveness , performance to create a systematic sales process used by US Commercial Organization.

This role will have two primary areas of focus: selling skill development and sales enablement. This position will provide overall leadership, development, and execut ion of a comprehensive selling skills curriculum and programs that focus on enhancing core selling competencies such as prospecting, consultative selling, negotiation, closing, and relationship management . This role will also ensure effective use of marketing materials and drive implementation of sales and marketing projects/programs to achieve business unit's priorities .

Additionally, this position will partner with key stakeholders to develop and implement Leadership and Development training to support career growth and retention.

This position reports to the VP of PVH US Sales and is a member of the PVH Commercial Leadership Team in critical partner ship with Director of Sales Training (Product training), Marketing and Area Directors & District Managers to deliver strategic sales enablement and training initiatives .

A Day in the Life.

Functional responsibilities/ collaboration :

  • Lead the creation and execution of a sales enablement strategy that aligns with the overall PVH strategic objectives , sales goals, and market dynamics.

  • Partner with sales leadership to identify key skill gaps and design tailored development programs for Sales Reps, Clinical Specialists , and S ales L eadershi p .

  • Utilize sales expertise and clinical mastery, to d evelop and execute training programs tailored to the needs of field sales teams, focusing on selling techniques, customer engagement, and territory management .

  • Develop sales tools and/or training to increase sales force effectiveness and achieve National AOP.

  • Evolve Field Sales Trainer (F STs ) Program structure , roles and activities to increase time to productivity of new hires .

  • D evelopment of quality Sales Performance & Support training programs such as New Hire Orientation, Sales Systems Training (Tableau, Connect, etc ), DM Onboarding and On-going development.

  • Deliver ongoing sales coaching, programs, and skill-building initiatives that promote continuous improvement in sales behaviors, sales performance, and outcomes.

  • Provide coaching and development to ADs, DMs, Sales Reps, Clinical Specialists to improve sales performance, employee development, and performance management while ensuring functional leaders do the same.

  • Champion a culture of sales excellence and continuous learning, fostering an environment where sales professionals at all levels can improve their skills and grow their careers.

  • Leverage analytics and performance dashboards and reporting tools to track the success of sales enablement initiatives, sales training, and skill development programs. Provide strategic insights to senior leadership, recommending actionable steps to improve sales performance based on data and feedback.

  • Responsible for selection , development and implementation of Sales Performance improvement training and reporting tools to advance sales performance to increase share gain and revenue growth.

  • Facilitate communications between staff and ensure focus on improving results to deliver National AOP attainment.

  • Partner with Director Global Sales Training, Therapy Training team, Marketing , and US Sales Leaders.

  • Develop strong relationships at the Sales Rep and DM levels, participate in DM Team meetings/calls

  • Engage with other Operating Units, S ales E nablement partners and Americas Commercial Training and other to benchmark and level capabilities.

Must Have : Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree required

  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant Sales, Marketing, Clinical, Training or Technical role in the medical device or healthcare industry with 7+ years of managerial experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant Sales, Marketing, Clinical, Training or Technical role in the medical device or healthcare industry with 7+ years of managerial experience

Nice to Have

  • Program management experience leading large, mission-critical programs that involve significant business change and organizational transformation.

  • Experience leading large teams in a matrix management environment.

  • Demonstrated track record of establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.

  • Previous experience with training a medical device sales force

  • Experience with utilization of clinical papers in sales conversations with physicians

  • Prior experience leading and managing change effort at senior level.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, adept at navigating organizational challenges and possess ability to work with through others and accomplish objectives .

  • Strong collaboration with demonstrated a bility to establish personal credibility and build trust quickly.

  • Proven change agent implementing learning and development methods and strategies.

  • Excellent oral and written skills with the ability to interface at all levels in the organization.

  • Possess a solid working knowledge of continuous improvement maturity assessment tools/ methods

  • Strong strategic thinker capable of understanding the organizational goals and can use

  • Ability to travel 50% - air and ground, domestic and international

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$160,800.00 - $241,200.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

This position is eligible for an annual long-term incentive plan.

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance , Health Savings Account , Healthcare Flexible Spending Account , Life insurance, Long-term disability leave , Dependent daycare spending account , Tuition assistance/reimbursement , and Simple Steps (global well-being program).
