Sourcing Director, Services

Fitch Group's Global Business Services team is currently seeking a Sourcing Director, Services based out of our NY location.

The Global Business Services team has an immediate need for a Sourcing professional to join our growing Strategic Sourcing team. Reporting into the Head of Sourcing, you will also work closely with the Head of Procurement, the Center of Excellence, and the Head of Supplier Management to bring value to the firm through the RFP, vendor selection, onboarding, contracting, and relationship management processes. You will help create and drive global category management for a broad range of indirect services, (HR, Marketing, Promotions, Events, etc.) sourcing, and contracting strategy. The successful candidate will have professional skills in Negotiation, Strategic Sourcing, RFP, Project and Category Management, with a proven track of accomplished savings and value-added support.

We'll Count on You To:

Establish and maintain effective partnerships with key stakeholders aimed at identifying, understanding and fulfilling all of their purchasing needs:


  • Review existing contracts and understand business requirements to optimize value on contract renewals; formulate guidelines and design standard vendor contract protocols
  • Proactively collaborate with business partners and stakeholders to lead all aspects of the RFx process and contract negotiation with suppliers
  • Develop negotiation strategies, and effectively utilize techniques and BATNA positioning to ensure the best overall strategic value in contracts with suppliers.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in Legal, Risk, and Operations to ensure supplier contracts minimize risk to the enterprise
  • Identify key benchmarks and supplier KPI's to measure contractual arrangements as well as supplier performance

What You Need to Have:


  • 5-10 years of Procurement and Sourcing experience in relevant spend categories

  • Strong understanding of the Source to Pay process
  • Self-directed, able to work independently, as well as work in a team-orientated and fast paced environment
  • Demonstrated quantitative and analytical skills to problem solving with a focus on managing within a team environment with strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build trust across the organization
  • Ability to develop and maintain Sourcing policies, procedures, tools and templates
  • Sourcing strategy and contract management knowledge required

What Would Make You Stand Out:


  • Experience with procurement-related tools such as iValua. Agiloft, SAP, Oracle, etc
  • Previous background in a regulated Financial Services firm

FOR NEW YORK ROLES ONLY: Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $110,000 - $130,000 per year. Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors. Base pay is one part of Fitch's total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.
