The thigh Feeder role is responsible for defect removal using three different tools for the process, which includes feeding a whole turkey thigh into a water-pressured Debone to separate the meat from the bone, Secondly, the job requires the use of a Wizard knife.
A Wizard knife is a rotating blade that rotates at a constant 360 Degrees and is used to remove a part of the meat or defects that are to be removed from the piece. The third tool is a straight knife used to remove defects/skin from the working product.
Key Responsibilities:
Verify product is clear of defects.
Properly handles all company-given tools safely.
Performs Tyson's GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) and housekeeping audits.
Maintains effective communication with supervisor and lead to ensure food quality and food safety standards.
Requirements:
Prior Employee Waiting Period: If you were previously employed at Tyson, there's a 90-day waiting period before you can reapply.
Number of Times Worked at Tyson: You can apply if you've worked at Tyson no more than three times.
