Top law firm is seeking an experienced Paralegal Manager to lead and oversee paralegal teams in multiple office locations. This role requires a skilled legal professional with a proven track record, both as a paralegal and as a manager. The ideal candidate will bring well-developed leadership, employee relations, and coaching skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage paralegals on multiple teams, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to legal and organizational standards.
Monitor employee performance and provide guidance.
Coordinate and participate in orientation and onboarding for all new paralegals.
Develop, implement, and maintain best practices and processes for efficient legal support.
Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide mentorship, and facilitate professional development opportunities for team members.
Collaborate with attorneys, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and project execution.
Manage paralegal workflow, capacity, assignments, and utilization.
Stay updated on legal regulations and changes to ensure compliance and provide training as necessary.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years' experience as a paralegal and at least 3 years in a managerial role.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Proven track record of process improvement and team efficiency initiatives.
Strong understanding of productivity metrics in a billable legal services context.
Well-developed employee relations and conflict management skills.
Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills.
Must CURRENTLY reside in the Denver metropolitan area. Out of state applicants will NOT be considered.
Compensation & Benefits:
Offering a salary of $110,000 - $130,000 based on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including health/dental/vision insurance, 401k with match, paid time off, commuter assistance program, and more.
