POSITION REPORTS TO: Dean for the Student Experience
Summary of Position
The Director of Public Safety is responsible for all aspects of campus safety and security at Allegheny College and provides leadership for a comprehensive program that includes law enforcement services for students, faculty, and staff. Public Safety provides a continuous patrol of College property to prevent crime and to protect life and property, enforce appropriate college regulations, and render service to the public. The Director works closely with members of the community to lead a comprehensive Sworn Police department that provides services for students, employees, and visitors to campus. Allegheny College is a non armed campus.

YOUR COMPENSATION
New hires are typically brought into the organization at a salary between the range minimum and the salary range midpoint depending on qualifications, internal equity, and the budgeted amount for the role.
The expected salary starting range for this position is $93,000 annually.
