Location: Wilmington, DE
Duration: 6+ month contract with opportunity to become permanent


This Engineer will provide electrical engineering support for the design, operations and maintenance of the site's high voltage power distribution (up to 34kv) infrastructure. The Electrical Engineer is responsible for technical competency and stewardship for the high voltage systems. They will lead the continuous improvement efforts for reliability, efficiency, and cost effectiveness of the electrical systems.


Use of expertise within Power Distribution to manage High Voltage Power processes
Obtain responsibility for the entire High Voltage system on-site 2-36 KV systems and ownership of those distributors
Assist with transformer maintenance
Availability for emergency work as needed including voltage sags, power outages etc.


Required skills;
Specific expertise within Power and Power Distribution, previously holding similar titles to High Voltage Power Engineer
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering
Minimum of 5 years demonstrated experience and knowledge of high voltage power distribution system operation and maintenance best practices.
Ability to support after hours in emergency situations, including incidents on nights and weekends (this will be remote)
Supporting team or high voltage technologists and direction processes accordingly
Expertise within manufacturing site processes and procedures
Demonstrated knowledge of electrical safety hazards analysis.
Demonstrated knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices for high voltage power distribution systems and equipment.
