Job Description:
Siteimprove is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sr. HR Specialist with 5-7 years of experience to join our team. This role is crucial in supporting our People & Community Operations team to ensure a seamless and efficient employee experience. You will assist with a variety of HR-related tasks, including support for employees throughout the employee lifecycle (includes but is not limited to; new hire orientation, employee change(s), and offboarding), responding to employee queries on policies & benefits, data management and optimization of our HRIS system, identifying opportunities to improve the upcoming launch of our HR AI tool, and managing and maintaining our internal HR intranet department page(s) to foster a positive and productive workplace culture.
What you will be doing
Employee life cycle:
Lead the coordination and execution of the new hire orientation process for new hires, conducting orientation sessions, and communicating with new hires and their People Leaders to ensure a smooth integration into Siteimprove.
Act as primary point of contact for feedback and questions as new employees join the Siteimprove Community.
Proactively suggest opportunities for improvement and further enhancement of the new hire orientation program based on both qualitative and quantitative data.
Manage the offboarding process, ensuring all exit procedures are followed and closed in a timely manner.
Manage the employee change cycle including promotions, internal transfers, and changes – ensuring that records are updated timely and efficiently.
HR Administration:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in our Human Resource Information System (HRIS), Dayforce.
Proactively identify and explore the feasibility of process improvements for the People & Community Operations team and lead them to completion.
Intranet (Sintra) Management:
Act as the primary point of contact for HR and the People & Community Operations team to ensure that information, and how information is shared on Siteimprove's intranet, Sintra, are accurate and up to date.
Act as a super-user for HR; supporting key participants in the creation, design, and implementation of their content.
Stay up to date with improvements and enhancements, and Company requirements, to Sintra and implement accordingly.
Community Support:
Welcome new employees to the office, and Siteimprove Community, on their first day.
Manage and update the People & Community Operations presentation – ensuring information shared is accurate & regularly updated.
Assist the local Community team in planning and organizing employee engagement activities and events.
Support initiatives to enhance workplace culture and employee satisfaction.
Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries, providing timely and accurate information.
Act as a back-up for the on-site Community team when on PTO.
Data Management and Reporting:
As requested, generate and distribute regular HR reports, such as headcount, turnover, and other applicable metrics.
Compliance and Policy Support:
Ensure HR practices comply with local labor laws and company policies.
Assist in the update, development, and communication of HR policies and procedures.
Identify gaps of information for employees and address these in a timely manner working with key participants to consult and update accordingly until project close.
Support internal audits and compliance-related activities.
Process Improvement:
Identify and manage to completion opportunities to streamline and improve HR processes and workflows.
Create/update process workflows and documentation as needed.
Assist, and on occasion lead and/or act as the secondary, in the implementation of new HR technologies and tools to enhance operational efficiency.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

The annual salary for this position ranges from $87,500 to $127,000, based on experience and qualifications. The targeted annual salary for this role is $98,000. This target is designed to set clear expectations and align with our budget for the ideal candidate.
