Are you passionate about supporting students and their academic journey? Lehigh University's Academic Systems and Services department is seeking an exceptional Transfer Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in guiding students from their initial enrollment through graduation, ensuring a seamless transition and academic progression.
As a Transfer Specialist, you will utilize your independent judgment and expertise to perform duties in support of all transfer credit services across the University. You will meet with students regularly, providing guidance related to transfer credit and academic progression while upholding academic policies and administrative procedures. Your deep understanding of Registration and Academic Services functions will enable you to effectively assist students, faculty, and staff in an advisory capacity. This position is a Grade: 8 - 37.5 with an approximate salary range of $43,290-$51,960 and is subject to change based on experience, skills and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate and process transfer credit requests
• Advise students on academic policies and procedures related to transfer credits
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of transfer credit evaluations
• Collaborate with academic departments and faculty to ensure consistent application of transfer credit policies
• Provide exceptional customer service to students, faculty, and staff
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience
• Three to five years of related work experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and student information systems
