Are you an experienced data analyst with a passion for driving strategic decision-making through data-driven insights? Lehigh University is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our Institutional Data department.

In this pivotal role, you will play a crucial part in supporting institutional decision-making through advanced data analysis, data management, and statistical studies. The Lehigh community takes seriously our commitment to antiracism and The Principles of our Equitable Community.

Position Number: S81030

This position is a Grade: 10 - 40 with an approximate salary range of $65,290-$79,430 and is subject to change based on experience, skills and qualifications.

Key responsibilities:
• Managing special analytics projects from inception to delivery
• Developing and maintaining data sources, pipelines, and institutional data warehouses
• Creating custom dashboards and responding to internal data requests
• Collaborating closely with the Director of Strategic Analytics to meet stakeholder needs
• Leveraging your expertise to advance Lehigh's strategic use of data for informed decision-making

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Data Analysis, Social Science, Computer Science, Statistics, a related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience
• Three to five years experience in a data-related position, preferably within higher education or a related industry
• Tableau Desktop Specialist
• Strong proficiency in SQL, with experience in Oracle databases, Microsoft SQL Server and/or AWS products
• Experience with data management and visualization tools, preferably Tableau Desktop, Tableau Prep Builder, DBeaver and/or AWS QuickSight
• Proficiency in statistical analysis tools such as R or Python
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
