General Summary
The Football Recruiting Assistant/Creative Coordinator assists and supports all aspects of the team's recruiting efforts, while adhering to NCAA, Mid-American Conference, University and departmental rules and regulations.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Assist the Director of Player Personnel and Recruiting Operations with planning and execution of twelve-month vision of recruiting calendar and recruiting marketing plan (mail, video, social media, etc.)
Design and produce promotional print and digital content, including but not limited to: recruiting mailers, social media content, and other additional content to enhance the EMU Football brand.
Maintain football recruiting databases (JumpForward, XOs Scout, Zcruit) and ensure all prospect and high school/junior college coaches' information is accurate and up to date.
Identify, evaluate, collect data, etc. on prospects to provide direction to the coaching staff through available and permissible sources (e.g. recruiting services, websites, etc.)
Assist with planning and coordinating official and unofficial visits to campus (itineraries, hosts, name tags, seating charts, compliance paperwork, complimentary tickets, etc.).
Assist with filing of transcripts for selected prospects in collaboration with Student-Athlete Support Services and Compliance Services staff.
Assist the Associate AD for Football Operations with other administrative duties associated with practice, competition, and football related events as needed.
Other duties as assigned by the Head Football Coach.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in related discipline and/or previous work experience with college football recruiting is required.
Strong working knowledge of all NCAA rules and regulations with an emphasis on Division 1 FBS recruiting bylaws is required.
Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and the ability to produce creative content is required.
Must possess the ability to meet project deadlines and work under time constraint pressures.
Ability to work non-traditional hours, including nights and weekends is required.
