We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations and Inventory Specialist to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth operations, optimal inventory management, and regulatory compliance across our production processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Training and Development: Conduct comprehensive training sessions for new operators to ensure their successful integration and performance.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage silo inventory to maintain optimal stock levels, proactively preventing shortages and disruptions.
  • Records Management: Maintain accurate and detailed records to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Oversee environmental monitoring activities to ensure adherence to all applicable standards and regulations.
  • Procurement and Logistics: Facilitate the ordering of raw materials and coordinate truck deliveries to ensure timely production.
  • Systems Support: Provide NetSuite assistance and support, optimizing operational workflows and enhancing productivity.
  • Financial Oversight: Create purchase requisitions and oversee end-of-month reconciliation processes to maintain financial accuracy.
  • Collaboration and Coordination: Partner with fellow supervisors and stakeholders to align group efforts and achieve departmental objectives.
  • Operational Oversight: Conduct routine patrols of process buildings to ensure adherence to safety protocols and operational integrity.
  • System Operations: Operate control systems (HMI) to monitor and regulate process operations effectively.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform regular inspections of machinery, proactively identifying and addressing issues to ensure reliability and efficiency.




Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in operations, inventory management, or a similar role in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Proficiency in enterprise resource planning systems.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and safety standards.
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
