Role Description
About the Role:
We are looking for a Java Tech Lead/Architect to lead the design, development, and deployment of Java-based applications. Architect and implement solutions using Microservices design patterns. Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
.
Responsibilities:
• Develop applications using Core Java, Microservices, Spring, and Spring Boot frameworks.
• Design and implement Microservices architecture.
• Containerize Microservices applications using Docker.
• Utilize AWS resources such as S3, EC2, SNS, SQS, Postgres SQL, Step Functions, CloudWatch, IAM, KMS, API Gateway, and Lambda.
• Analyze performance issues using tools like JMeter and identify root causes to fix them.
• Use GitLab for both build and deploy processes to provision applications in AWS or OpenStack cloud.
• Employ static code analyzers (e.g., SonarQube, Veracode) and resolve reported vulnerabilities.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the development team.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Develop and execute testing plans to ensure the quality of the applications.
Skills & Requirements
Must Haves:
• Extensive experience in Core Java, Microservices, Spring, and Spring Boot frameworks.
• Proven experience in developing applications using Microservices design patterns.
• Proficiency in Docker and containerizing Microservices applications.
• Hands-on experience with AWS resources such as S3, EC2, SNS, SQS, Postgres SQL, Step Functions, CloudWatch, IAM, KMS, API Gateway, and Lambda.
• Experience in analyzing performance issues using tools like JMeter and identifying root causes.
• Proficiency in using GitLab for build and deploy processes.
• Experience with static code analyzers (e.g., SonarQube, Veracode) and resolving reported vulnerabilities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate ambiguity.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams
