We are seeking a talented AEM Architect to join our dynamic team in a remote capacity. This role offers the opportunity to lead the development of mission-critical systems while collaborating with clients to deliver high-performance solutions. Responsibilities
Architect and lead the development of high-availability systems.
Engage in client meetings, tailoring communications to fit diverse audiences.
Translate business needs into technical requirements effectively.
Contribute throughout all phases of the development lifecycle.
Provide constructive feedback during code reviews.
Create architecture and technical specifications documents.
Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code as needed.
Prepare and produce releases of software components.
Support continuous improvement by exploring alternative technologies.
Mentor senior engineers and share technical knowledge across the engineering practice.
Skills
7+ years of professional hands-on AEM development experience.
3+ years of experience in AEM technical and team leadership.
Proficiency with AEM, Java, Sling, OSGi, JCR, and Apache Web Server.
Experience integrating with third-party systems (e.g., Salesforce, Mulesoft, Commerce).
Solid understanding of systems design, high availability, disaster recovery, caching, CDN, and persistence.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Experience with Agile development methodologies, preferably SCRUM, and unit testing.
Preferred Skills
BS/MS degree, bootcamp graduate, or equivalent self-education.
Experience architecting and launching sites using AEM Cloud Service or AEM 6.5.
