Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic, multi-faceted individual to join our growing Diabetes Marketing team. This role will be responsible for establishment of the vision, strategy development and execution for growth in the type 1 diabetes market. You will work in close coordination with a national Sales Team as well as key internal stakeholders to create and execute on a meaningful and measurable business strategy to deliver consistent double digit topline growth in the market. The successful candidate for this role will build out a long-term business plan to address the core drivers in the segment including caregivers, the HCP community and patient user segment as well as market advocacy groups.
This role will focus on the development of the overall strategy for driving HCP adoption and the resulting patient pull through. There will be a heavy focus on working closely with the field for to develop the messaging and downstream market collateral as well as successful execution and tracking. The successful candidate will be adept at seeking out and building new market partnerships to extend brand awareness. This role will ensure alignment with internal functional partners including Market Access, Regulatory/Quality, R&D, Customer Service, Finance and Legal. The ideal candidate for this position will be highly self-motivated, a big thinker, and strong team player who takes great pride in the quality, precision, and measurable results of his/her work. Candidates should ideally have prior medical device or pharmaceutical spaces, and should be confident building and presenting strategies and tactics to senior level external and internal and external audiences. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are a must.

Candidates must be highly motivated leaders, have the ability to balance multiple project priorities and operate efficiently to meet the demands of our agile marketing environment while not being afraid to have some fun along the way.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute portfolio strategies to drive sustained double digit product portfolio growth
• Develop, present and lead the execution of integrated commercial launch and market development plans in the US Diabetes Technology space including core strategies, tactics, financial objectives, budgets and staffing requirements
• Analyze financial performance against KPI benchmarks and develop appropriate action
• Manage expenses within budget, maximizing effectiveness and efficiency
• Lead, motivate and develop a team of junior to mid-level marketing professionals to support exceptional commercial tactical execution
• Maintain and develop key internal stakeholder relationships to ensure smooth, integrated operation of major projects. Internal stakeholder groups include Regulatory/Quality, R&D, Customer Service, Legal, Market Access and Finance
• Ensure optimal Sales & Marketing working platform through consistent communication with the sales team and regular field travel
• Maintain and develop KOL relationships to drive product portfolio awareness
• Support the Patient Marketing team with business and strategic insight as well as commercial execution assistance'
• Perform other duties as required.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business or Marketing with 10+ years of work experience. An MBA or advanced degree preferred
• Medical Device or Pharmaceutical industry marketing experience preferred
Minimum Requirements:
• Experience developing and commercializing new products/line extensions
• Diabetes experience or knowledge preferred
• Experience leading, motivating and managing a team

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong working relationships

Additional Information:
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $119,700.00 - $179,850.00. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the primary work location in the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
