Responsible for the monthly production accounting for all areas of Eagle Ford.
Generate monthly volumetric upload file and reconcile volumes.
Accurate and timely bookings and reporting of production volumes.
Validate production data; verification of production monthly statements.
Analyze sales volume determinations, meter volume data.
Oversee monthly close process and facilitate knowledge transfer to other staff the process
Assist in responding to internal and external audits requests for documentation and explanations.
Follow all internal controls related to production accounting.
Investigate and help resolve interface issues between systems.
Assess any new production system for accuracy and efficiency with regards to production allocation
Coordinate and provide weekly reconciliation between Energy Components and Global production reporting system
Assist in preparation and presentation with Allocation Engineer current monthly estimate through CME process to management and accounting
MOC package creation for wells in purview.
Creation and maintenance of setups in Production Accounting systems.
Working daily with EFBU operational and measurement personnel to ensure data integrity of daily data within Energy Components and support to identify anomalies.
Validation, Analysis and reconciliation of daily/monthly volumes for oil/gas/water; troubleshooting of volume discrepancies and identifying trends in Energy Components
Ensure all communication corrections for daily measurement results have been reflected in Energy Components for prior validated gas days.
Coordinate with EFBU operational personnel to ensure daily and weekly production actuals/forecast and variance explanations are accurate and reliable.
Ensure Monthly CME (Current Month Estimate) is accurate for current month results.
Compile monthly, Quarterly, Yearly Production related internal and regulatory reporting requirements.
Support daily production results reporting requests
Ensure well, facility and flow data are accurately reflected in Energy Components. (WI %, Well reference data, Well/Facility Status, etc.)
Acquisition and analysis of data from multiple sources
Participation in special projects related to Production Accounting.
Participation in system upgrades and testing.
Preparation and analysis of Monthly Prior Period Adjustments in Energy Components
Any other reasonable activity required by management
QUALIFICATIONS
Legal authorization to work in the US for any US employer
Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Business, or other relevant field of study
3+ years of Production, Revenue, Royalty and Marketing Accounting experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
Working level proficiency with advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables and lookups)
Experience with SAP and Production Revenue Accounting systems (Waterfield Energy and Energy Components software preferred).
Solid understanding of production accounting, including allocation methods and reconciliation.
