REPORTS TO:
The Receptionist is responsible and accountable to the Office Manager of the division. The Receptionist is required to maintain and uphold the courteous, satisfactory, and efficient performance/completion of all assigned duties.
BASIC FUNCTION:
Assist the Office Manager by providing administrative and clerical support. Assists with projects as needed.
JUB DUTIES:
Assist with correspondence, travel arrangements, records, files, appointments and invoices to accomplish efficient and quality communications.
The Receptionist must be consistent and uphold a high level of confidentiality.
Coordinating and completing various office services such as mailings, copying, etc. for work areas.
Must be efficient in organization of office paperwork, preparation of office forms for office personnel, and timely maintenance of various tracking records.
Provides phone relief and other duties as temporary relief for various positions to maintain efficient office operations.
Must report regularly to the Office Manager on progress and/or problems; seeking assistance and counsel as required.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE:
Accuracy in checking, posting and counting is required. Must be able to use calculators, computers, machines (copy, fax, etc.) and other typical office equipment. Position requires knowledge of English, arithmetic, and proper grammar.
EXPERIENCE:
Over three months and up to and including 12 months to become familiar with responsibilities and duties to perform effectively under normal supervision.
COMPLEXITY OF DUTIES:
Routine duties involve the use of various office procedures and application of clearly prescribed company standards, which require the making of minor decisions and the use of judgment. Able to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
