Job Description:

Austin Bridge & Road is currently seeking an Assistant Field Office Manager for our Asphalt Plants who will manage the administrative functions of multiple asphalt plants. This role ensures efficient operations, compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, and supports plant production to achieve operational goals. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in managing construction or industrial operations with a focus on asphalt production.

Functional Areas of Responsibility

1. Operational Oversight:

• Purchase order management (excluding materials)


• CIP management including reconciliation of budget to actual spend


• Track and manage budgets, including expenses for materials, equipment, and labor.

• Administrative Management:

• Oversee payroll entry and reporting for field team members.

• Compliance and Safety:

• Ensure documentation of compliance with DOT and company policies.

• Accounts Receivable:

• Enter accounts receivable payments into accounting system.


• Prepare monthly accounts receivable reconciliations.


• Backup for lien notices


• Inquiry of outside customer payment status.


• Maintain relationships with customers.

 Qualifications:

• Proficiency in administrative software, including ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.


• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.


• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of accounting software programs or construction related accounting programs


• Knowledge of MS Office


• Ability to multi-task and handle multiple deadlines
