What You'll Do
Partner with business and technology leaders to define and shape enterprise strategies that align with organizational goals and drive measurable outcomes.
Develop and maintain business capability models, value streams, and process maps that translate strategic objectives into actionable roadmaps.
Collaborate with Enterprise Architects, Solution Architects, and other stakeholders to ensure that business requirements are accurately reflected in technology solutions.
Facilitate workshops and discussions to elicit, document, and analyze business requirements, processes, and workflows, ensuring alignment across business units.
Drive the identification and prioritization of business capabilities that support strategic initiatives and help guide investment decisions.
Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations on how to optimize processes, reduce operational inefficiencies, and leverage technology to drive business value.
Develop and maintain business architecture artifacts, including capability maps, business models, and strategic roadmaps, ensuring they remain up-to-date and relevant.
Support change management efforts by helping stakeholders understand the impact of changes on business capabilities and processes.
Champion data-driven decision-making by ensuring business architecture practices are informed by analytics, KPIs, and measurable business outcomes.
Foster a collaborative environment by mentoring and coaching junior architects, promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
What You'll Bring
Proven experience in a business architecture role with a strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks.
At least 3+ years consulting experience is preferred
Demonstrated ability to translate business strategies into actionable capability models and roadmaps.
Experience with business process modeling, value stream mapping, and capability-based planning.
Strong understanding of how technology solutions (cloud, data analytics, digital platforms) can enable business objectives and drive transformation.
Excellent facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience working in an Agile or hybrid-Agile environment, with a solid grasp of how to align business architecture practices with Agile delivery.
Familiarity with change management principles and experience supporting organizations through business transformation initiatives.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data and metrics to inform business architecture decisions.
Experience in developing business architecture artifacts and frameworks, with a demonstrated ability to tailor approaches based on organizational context.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.
Certifications such as Certified Business Architect (CBA) or certifications in enterprise architecture frameworks are highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the base salary pay range for a Sr. Consultant is $110,000-$203,000 and for a Principal is $122,000-$225,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
