Job Title:Production TechDepartment:Business Advancement | Schottenstein Center Guest Services Administration-JMThe Production Techs provide general AV support for special events and athletic operations at the Schottenstein Center.


Production techs will work in the following areas:


· Theatrical lighting for house produced events


· Audio for press conferences and house produced events


· Conference Services AV


· Assist in maintenance and upkeep of JSC AV equipment


· Assist during game operations for athletics events in the JSC

Additional Information:Additional Job Description

Time Commitment:


Up to 5 hours per week dedicated to office hours for projects and maintenance


10- hours per week dedicated to events (based on event calendar).. allows for Flexible Work Schedule!



A few qualifications we look for:


- Interest in sporting and entertainment events, and related technical equipment


- Must be able to stand on your feet for 4 hours or more, rain or shine


- Ability to lift, push, pull, carry equipment of 50 pounds or more


- Reliable transportation to get to and from work


- Availability to work primarily nights and weekends with some business hours available


- Ability to maintain a positive attitude at events at all times


- Ability to maintain and support open communication with Production Team


- Excellent verbal communication skills


- Excellent problem solving ability


- Possession of a strong, healthy work ethic


- Ability to multitask, understand priorities, and plan work in a timely manner
