Responsibilities:
Assemble and test electrical and mechanical components to meet high-quality standards for armored combat and support vehicles.
Perform harness, electrical, and mechanical assembly, including routing wires, crimping contacts, soldering connections, assembling and tightening hardware, and conducting electronic unit testing.
Utilize hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and test devices for assembly tasks.
Follow OSHA and ISO safety guidelines while working in compliance with quality standards.
Interface with computerized work instructions and interpret drawings for accurate assembly.
Inspect and verify completed work to ensure it meets specified requirements.
Qualifications:
Training and Certification:
Ability to become IPC certified in soldering.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 20+ lbs. without assistance.
Comfortable wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
Technical Skills:
Basic proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and other applicable software tools.
Additional Requirements:
Must be detail-oriented and capable of reading and following drawings and computerized instructions.
