This is a 10 hour per week part-time temporary position scheduled to end in May 2025.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Housing Operations Coordinator will assist the Housing Operations team with the housing selection processes. Specific responsibilities include working with the StarRez housing software to assist throughout the spring 2025 semester with relevant processes and procedures.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Work with Residence Life staff to ensure that the StarRez housing software system is appropriately set up for the 2025-2026 returning housing selection process and new student housing application process including reviewing system set up, testing, reviewing, and suggesting edits.

Work with Residence Life staff in planning and implementing the 2025-2026 housing selection process the week of housing selection; the post housing, To Be Housed, and the Waitlist processes. Ensure the system is set up correctly for all processes, troubleshoot issues as they arise, and elevate issues as necessary.

Train and support Residence Life staff to prepare for and implement the housing selection process.

Assist Residence Life Staff with other projects or process needs as they arise.

Assumes additional responsibilities as required.

WHAT EDUCATION AND SKILLS YOU WILL NEED

Bachelor's Degree

At least 2-4 years of relevant experience.

Knowledge of housing operations and understanding of residential programs.

Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.

Previous experience with StarRez system or similar housing system technology.

Flexibility and willingness to assume new tasks and special projects.

HOW AND WHERE YOU WILL WORK

This is a part-time temporary position and may be eligible for hybrid/remote work upon review with the manager.

May occasionally attend meetings and events during evenings and/or weekends.
