AttainX, Inc. is in search of a highly energetic Network Engineer with strong technical knowledge, communication and organizational skills to support our government client.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• 3+ years of experience implementing and maintaining network solutions
• Strong experience providing Network Engineering expertise and Tier 3+ support for a global enterprise computing environment
• Must hold a minimum of CISCO Associate Level Certification in good standings (such as CCDA, CCNA, etc.).
• Experience researching and evaluating enterprise networking solutions and providing recommendations to senior leadership
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional global teams and acting as a networking subject-matter expert to support, troubleshoot, and implement enterprise IT solutions
• Solid understanding of networking principles and security best practices
• Working knowledge of technologies traversing an enterprise network (e.g. virtualization, VOIP, IT Windows and Linux systems, SAN, applications, 8850 etc.)
• Understanding of the system hardening processes, tools, guidelines and benchmark.
• Demonstrated proficiency in interpersonal, analytical, oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience working on US Federal Government Contracts
• Demonstrate experience to deliver technology solutions in a fast-paced in a deadline-driven enterprise environment
• Self-starter, highly motivated individual who adapts to a dynamic work environment
• Strong attention to detail with an ability to operate effectively across multiple priorities.

Job Duties:

The Network Engineer is responsible for supporting the implementation and maintenance of Networking solutions for our US Government customer. Job duties include:

• Development Environment – Implement a dedicated IT development environment for testing patches and updates, system changes, and evaluation software
• Wireless Connectivity - a secured wireless LAN within the system boundary with the proper IT Security access restrictions
• Patch management - automate the IT Security patches process required to keep the system secure
• Implement modifications to the existing system boundary, which may include changes to VLANs and physical connectivity to other 8850 systems
• Enhance the current remote access (VPN) for the system using terminal services and dual factor authentication
• Implement remote desktop technology for the workstations to allow the Help desk to troubleshoot and fix desktop problems remotely
• Develop network architecture enhancement to the 8850 environment
• Provide innovative and cutting edge solutions to network issues/concern
• Provide business case analysis for varying solutions and include a cost benefits analysis for each solution
• Knowledge and direct experience in a cloud based environment
