Job Description: The Lead Technical Product Manager will oversee the product lifecycle from conception to launch, ensuring alignment with business objectives and user needs. This strategic thinker will have a deep technical background, bridging the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders. Additionally, this role focuses on developing and implementing data-driven strategies to enhance McKesson's supply chain efficiency and effectiveness, with a focus on demand forecasting and inventory management.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Lead the product development process from ideation to launch, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality standards.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to define product vision and strategy.

  • Gather and prioritize product requirements based on customer feedback, market research, and competitive analysis.

  • Develop and maintain a product roadmap that aligns with company goals and strategic initiatives.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for technical product queries, providing expertise and guidance to internal teams and external partners.

  • Conduct regular product reviews and iterations to enhance performance, usability, and user satisfaction.

  • Lead development and support adoption of network optimization initiatives, leveraging learnings and best practices across the enterprise.

  • Utilize advanced analytics, machine learning, and predictive modeling to identify trends, risks, and opportunities within our supply chain.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and MT Engagement Leads to identify areas that can benefit significantly from advanced analytics.

  • Communicate strategy and results to technical and non-technical audiences, developing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and internal clients.

  • Manage business stakeholder relationships to drive action and value from data science insights.


Minimum
Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Operations Research, Statistics, or related field

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in product management, technical products, or platforms, and 5+ years in supply chain, finance, operations research, analytics, or data science.

  • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing complex technical products.

  • Strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).

  • Expertise in advanced analytics, big data technologies, and translating big data into actionable outcomes.

  • Demonstrated experience leveraging advanced analytics for supply chain optimization.

  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or JD Edwards.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.


Additional Knowledge & Skills:



  • Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., Snowflake, Oracle, MS SQL Server) and proficiency with programming/database querying tools (R, Python, SQL) and data visualization tools (Qlik, Tableau) is a plus.

  • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, Databricks) and data warehousing & ETL best practices is advantageous.

  • Stay abreast of market evolutions and dynamics regarding McKesson's position in the industry.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position



$152,600 - $254,400
