DESCRIPTION:
The MT Enterprise SOX Technology Services team is seeking a leader in its SOX Governance team to support investment in activities for FY26 and beyond. The leader in Compliance Strategy will be tasked with supporting Enterprise IT Compliance leadership in planning, delivering, and implementing high-priority strategic projects that advance McKesson Technology's goals. This is especially important given the MT Acceleration program and anticipated increase in growth opportunities for MT. This role will work with SOX leaders, Acceleration Program partners and other Enterprise IT Compliance leaders to develop strategies aligned to our enterprise priorities and partnering across Service Area teams in support of McKesson Technology's strategy.
This individual will support strategic decision making by leading projects related to prioritization, initiation (including budget, timing), stakeholder analysis across projects, and partnering with leaders within IT Compliance, and across the Enterprise, regarding operating procedures, governance, and processes to streamline activities and goals across SOX.
This role reports directly to the Senior Director, SOX Governance.
Key responsibilities
Identify key SOX projects related to Enterprise and IT Compliance priorities, including those in flight for FY26 as well as additional projects identified with the Acceleration Program
Manage multiple complex strategic projects, developing detailed work plans
Partner with stakeholders within Enterprise IT Compliance and within McKesson Technology to gain alignment on project goals, timing and deliverables
Develop high-quality deliverables, and detailed work plans
Create analytical frameworks and conduct complex business analyses
Develop robust, actionable insights to inform strategies, priorities, and key decisions
Quickly build expertise and insights about industry trends and potential implications for McKesson
Manage relationships with key leaders and project stakeholders throughout McKesson Technology and the organization
Lead, influence, and reach consensus with or without formal authority or people management responsibilities
Areas of focus include but are not limited to implications of market trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging risks and opportunities
Maintain thorough knowledge of company's business lines, products, and services
Apply strategic and analytical thinking to synthesize market data and deliver business insights
Manage discrete threads of work independently and deliver high-quality work product
Partners with SOX, SOC, Architecture, Automation leaders and Business Unit leaders to drive the strategic planning process and supports other strategic updates to Leadership
Leverage presentations to develop a storyline and POV, while influencing and driving conviction that a given strategy makes sense among key McKesson executive leaders
Work within established framework to facilitate business problem solving and present hypotheses and recommendations to senior management
Work through ambiguity and put structure around problems/tasks with limited guidance
Required Skills
Bachelor's degree required
MBA or other relevant master's degree preferred
10+ years of prior strategy consulting, healthcare consulting, startup and/or relevant industry experience
Prior experience in healthcare required
Healthcare Knowledge: Expertise in healthcare industry
Strategic Thinking: evaluating industry trends, developing long-term implications, and recommending pragmatic strategies for new business opportunities
Analytical Rigor: ability to bring structure to ill-defined problems and intellectual leadership to problem solving; synthesize insights from analysis and ensure credible, actionable recommendations
Financial Acumen: Competency in financial analysis
Communications Skills: ability to develop rapport and credibility across the organization, promote ideas and present complex information in an easy-to-understand, persuasive manner.
