BIOTRONIK is looking to add a Manager of Accounting Operations to our Accounting team. The Manager of Accounting Operations is responsible for leading and optimizing all day-to-day accounting operations for Biotronik Corporate Services. This role oversees accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, sales tax, banking, and travel and expense administration while fostering a collaborative, results-driven environment. The Manager will champion process improvements, scalability, and compliance with financial regulations while managing and mentoring their team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Lead and develop a team of direct reports, promoting a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Measure and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for accounts receivable operations across multiple legal entities, while managing relationships with customers to ensure timely collections and effective communication
  • Manage shared service accounts payable and payroll operations for multiple legal entities, ensuring accurate and timely processing
  • Assist in the management of the company's banking and travel relationships, including credit card administration
  • Support leadership and others in the organization with ad-hoc requests related to all areas of accounting operations
  • Identify and promote efficiency and effectiveness through improved processes and automation
  • Ensure all accounting operations align with the financial regulations and internal controls
  • Deliver continuous improvement by assessing problem situations, identifying root causes, gathering and processing relevant information, generating possible solutions, and making recommendations and/or resolving the problem

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting operations experience
  • Experience building and leading high-performing teams
  • Experience in training, mentoring, and empowering a diverse team of accounting professionals
  • Ability to frame an issue and solve problems with root cause analysis and continuous improvement principles
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adjust to rapidly changing demands
  • Advanced understanding of accounting systems, processes, and ERP platforms (SAP preferred), as well as proficiency in Concur and ADP
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills with a focus on driving results
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Team player and willing to adapt to new tasks and projects
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with ability to prioritize, coordinate and simultaneously maintain multiple projects with high level of quality and productivity
  • Experience with international companies and foreign owned subsidiaries preferred
  • Proficiency in SAP, Concur and ADP

Supervisory Responsibilities

Position oversees accounting operations team consisting of accounts payable specialists, accounts receivable specialists, payroll, and travel and expense administrators.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Standard days of work are Monday through Friday. Hours of work may vary depending on time zone supported. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
