Job Description:

For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $100,000-140,000 per year and an additional uncapped commission.

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-

related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

The Project Manager is responsible for achieving the project's objectives. They work closely with the Commercial Manager, Program Manager, Site Technical Manager and Engineering Lead to define the project objectives, create a plan, and execute the plan to achieve those objectives. The Project Manager has a working knowledge of the technical and organizational environments in which the project deliverables are created and will be used. They may also assist in the strategic planning for the department. The Project Manager must have strong communication skills, verbal and written at all levels within the project environment, be proactive, exhibit strong leadership qualities, and be adaptable to a dynamic and geographically disbursed project environment.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for meeting the scope, schedule, and budget commitments reflected in the Project Management Plan.

  • Lead the Project Team in developing and managing the Project Management Plan within the constraints established and approved by the Project Sponsor.

  • Implement and enforce change control over project scope, schedule, resources, and budget.

  • Collaborate with resource managers and/or organizational management to obtain adequate resources with appropriate skills to staff the project team.

  • Manages resources by planning, scheduling, and forecasting manpower and resource requirements

  • Manages subcontractors to deliver high quality deliverables and installation on schedule

  • Manage the timely resolution of issues, including the escalation of issues that are outside of the project team's scope of responsibility.

  • Continually identify and proactively manage project risks & opportunities, ensure execution of corrective action plans up to closure.

  • Coordinate and direct project closure to customer

  • Prepares and delivers final project closure and documentation to customers and ensures final payment

  • Management of and responsibility for project change order / Issue logs

  • Monitor the project and report the project status to leadership on a regular basis.

  • Review and approve all team project submittals.

Who will you report to?
  • This position reports to the Senior Project Manager

What skills and capabilities will make you successful?


  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical, or an equivalent engineering discipline. Master's degree desired. Bachelor's. Degree in Finance or Business is also acceptable.

  • Minimum of four years' work experience in managing BMS, HVAC, Industrial Controls / Automation, or similar discipline projects.

  • Microsoft Project (or similar); experience with Smartsheets a plus.

  • Previous work experience as a lead automation/controls engineer desired.

  • Previous experience in the commercial office and manufacturing market desired.

  • Knowledge of Schneider Electric's EcoStruxure BAS solution desired.

  • Must be able to travel 15%
