Do Not Pay is the Treasury’s program designed to give Federal and State Agencies access to the critical information needed to eliminate improper payments and fraud. (Examples of improper payments are payments to people who are deceased or payments of the wrong amounts.)
The Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis is looking for an Analytics Product Owner for the Do Not Pay program to develop strategies and lead the implementation of products that prevent improper payments and fraud in the government. In this visible role, you will gain an in-depth understanding of our Federal and State customers and their challenges and use your innovative mindset to create products that solve their challenges and work within their systems. You will lead the achievement of those strategies through collaboration with technical teams and business partners, and through continuous learning and delivery. You will report directly to the analytics management team.
Responsibilities
Build and deliver the vision, strategy, and product roadmap for analytics products.
Develop a comprehensive understanding of your customers and their priorities and workflows to ensure your products will help them prevent improper payments and fraud.
Partner with data scientists, data engineering, and customer specialists to ensure successful build and implementation of your products.
Create agreement with leadership and your customers on strategies, outcomes, prioritization, and roadmap for your products.
Become an expert on data governance requirements regarding the privacy and legal authorities of Do Not Pay and our clients, and how analytic solutions can be designed to stay within the necessary requirements.
Maintain client relationships through consultation, high-quality work, and delivery.
Participate in, and sometimes facilitate, Agile team ceremonies such as Program Increment Planning, Sprint Planning and Demo, and Daily Stand-Up to lead product and project decisions and ensure analyses and deliverables align with customer needs and overall strategies.
Be a subject matter expert of analytic capabilities and their benefit to customers.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant experience
Experience building and growing products that create business metrics and valuable outcomes for customers.
Experience with customer discovery and knowledge of analytical techniques that can be synthesized to form product strategies.
Experience developing influential and consultative relationships with customers and partners to gain their agreement and engagement on product implementation and to push through roadblocks.
Experience with desktop research and basic numeric analysis.
Experience communicating product details and benefits to clients and partners.
Experience managing your own projects and backlogs.

Salary: $93,300.00-$119,000
