We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced individual for a full-time, faculty position in Psychology within the College of Arts and Sciences. This may be a tenure-track or a Professor of Practice position. As a full-time faculty member in Psychology at Indiana Institute of Technology, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our students' academic journey. You will be responsible for teaching courses each academic year, with the exciting opportunity to also teach graduate courses both in-person and online. Your role will involve developing innovative curriculum and course materials that foster professional and scholarly interactions with students. Beyond teaching, you will mentor students, guiding them toward academic success and career readiness. Your active participation in course and program-level learning assessments, campus committees, departmental meetings, recruiting, and quality improvement initiatives will be crucial in maintaining and enhancing the educational standards of our programs. You will create a supportive and engaging learning environment that embraces diversity and promotes student success.
Candidates who hold a doctoral degree in Psychology or a related field from a regionally accredited institution will be considered for this role. You must have college-level teaching experience and a commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment. Proficiency in using technology effectively in teaching, including platforms such as Canvas, Microsoft Office, and TEAMS, is required.
