Be part of an operation that focuses on the sustainment and modernization of tactical aircraft, ensuring they remain ready and capable. This facility is a cornerstone of aerospace maintenance and support, providing essential services to enhance military aircraft's operational life and capabilities.
Responsibilities:
Plan, fabricate, assemble, install, and repair internal and external aircraft structures and surfaces for modifications, following technical manuals, engineering drawings, and FAA regulations.
Perform F-16 production line structural assembly, including installing fasteners, drilling bulkheads and skins, and building fuselage components.
Execute heavy precision drilling, countersinking, and reaming precision holes on aircraft structures.
Conduct hands-on production work, climbing on fuselage parts, working on ladders and stands, and performing tasks that require kneeling and standing for extended periods.
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
Minimum 6-8 years of aviation production drilling/structural work, with clear documentation of experience and years on the resume.
At least 4-6 years of precision drilling experience.
Skills:
Strong understanding of aircraft production structures and experience with hands-on tasks in a production environment.
Ability to work in physically demanding conditions, including climbing, kneeling, and using ladders/stands.
