RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Salt Lake City, UT that is seeking a talented and results-driven Software Product Manager to lead the development and delivery of impactful software solutions. In this role, you will define product strategies, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and deliver exceptional software experiences that align with both customer needs and business goals. Whether you're building new features or creating a product from scratch, you'll play a vital role in shaping the future of our software offerings. Responsibilities:


  • Define and manage the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for software solutions

  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and business teams to create user-focused, scalable, and efficient products

  • Identify customer needs and market opportunities to prioritize and deliver impactful features

  • Translate business requirements into detailed product requirements and specifications

  • Lead the product lifecycle from ideation to release, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes

  • Monitor product performance and use data insights to iterate and optimize

  • Communicate product plans, decisions, and outcomes clearly to stakeholders at all levels

  • Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies to inform product strategies

  • Foster a collaborative, innovative team culture, mentoring junior team members where applicable







REQUIREMENTS:



  • Proven experience in software product management or a similar role

  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working with cross-functional Agile teams

  • Ability to use data insights, user research, and competitive analysis to drive product decisions

  • Familiarity with software development tools and platforms (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Google Analytics, Amplitude, Pendo)

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with a track record of aligning teams and stakeholders

  • A customer-centric mindset with a focus on delivering value

  • A strategic thinker with a passion for solving customer problems through innovative software solutions

  • Skilled at collaborating with diverse teams and communicating effectively across stakeholders

  • Driven by data and user feedback to make informed product decisions

  • Committed to continuous improvement, open to feedback, and always eager to learn

  • Excited to balance the technical and business aspects of software product development.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in SaaS, B2C, or B2B software environments

  • Knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in the software industry

  • Background in engineering, design, or a related technical field is a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.



We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
