Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce is immediately seeking an experienced Automation Developer/Tester to contribute to the development of an application from scratch, designed to support service activation and disconnection for customers. This role involves automation testing of APIs and user interfaces, leveraging tools like Karate, Cucumber, and Selenium. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in Java, AWS, and CI/CD deployments to help ensure the application's reliability and performance.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute automation tests for APIs and UI components


• Utilize Karate or Cucumber for test automation, with Selenium preferred for UI testing


• Work within a Java-based framework, leveraging GraphQL as needed


• Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment


• Support AWS-based deployment processes and CI/CD pipelines as required


• Provide senior-level expertise in refining and maintaining the testing framework

REQUIREMENTS:

Experience with:

• Automation testing for APIs and UI components


• Karate for testing (Cucumber or similar tools also acceptable)


• Selenium for UI testing


• Java development, with a preference for experience in GraphQL


• AWS deployment processes and CI/CD tools
• To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed


• Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
