Duration : 12/16/2024 to 03/31/2025
Work Schedule: 40 hours/week, 9 am to 6 pm • Location: 100% onsite • Duration: 3 months - Is there potential for extension or conversion? unsure • FLSA Classification: non-exempt • Top 3 technical or soft skills you'd like to see that will lead you to request an interview: 1) Needs to be able to stand for long periods and push a 50 lb sterilization cart 2) Must be able to work with others in a small setting 3) Have some sort of dental background.
Description: The Sterilization Technician will wash, bag, and sterilize dental instruments for different groups within , opeCompany rating related equipment with little to no supervision. Other responsibilities may include picking up dirty instruments, dropping off, and organizing clean instruments for supported groups, labeling cassettes and instruments as needed, and organizing the quality control aspects of sterilization. Would be beneficial for the person in this role to master the knowledge of sterilization supplies, cassettes, and equipment in stock, and as a result, be able to direct students with their needs when necessary. Must comply with all federal and state regulations (OSHA, HIPAA, DPH, AAMI, ANSI) and local standards. Certified Sterilization Technician and trained dental assistant with one to three years' experience in laboratory work preferred.
